Hi Trev,

Try to use other cables to isolate the problem. If it still exist, try touching any metal art of the guitar while plugged, if the hum vanish, then you have a grounding problem. If the hum is still there, you may have a electronic shielding problem. Yes JamPlay is a good platform to learn how to play guitar or to improve your playing skills.

I am having terrible trouble with hum but I never knew what was causing it.Thank you for covering this issue as now I can take action to get rid of it.I am also going to try out Jamplay to try and make some progress.Thanks for the tip.
