Hi Michael,

Guitar Pro is a very good interactive tablature software which you can hear and see the notes played. It is very nice to follow and can be used as a backing track so you can perform like a one man band. If you want a structured training I suggest you try JamPlay. They have instructors, multiangle videos, and interactive tablature similar to Guitar Pro. It is also cheaper than going to music schools plus you will learning at home.

Hiya. I love the article and this new tablature software I'm interested in ''guitar pro tab'' I,m only a guitar beginner and this is something I might look into to improve my guitar playing. I have been learning guitar of youtube on and of but it doesn't go into a step by step basis. I'm thinking about going to music school and being taught by an instructor but this comes with a cost plus the time. I look into this again soon. Thanks

Guitar Pro is a very good tablature software. It could help you learn guitar faster than just watching videos on you tube.

Very good information on guitar pro tab, I’ve only started to learn how to play the guitar. I’m a keyboardist by trade but have started to adventure into learning how to play the guitar. The learning curve is very steep, so I can understand how helpful it would be to have an instructor to monitor your progress, I will look into that.
