Welcome to JamPlay Review
Are you stuck with your playing level or are you a beginner who wants to learn how to play guitar?
My JamPlay review will guide you on the fastest and easiest way to achieve your guitar playing goals.
This website which is offering guitar lessons is the best online but do not take my word for it, you need to try it first.
Then see for yourself what I am talking about.
I use to give guitar lessons, but after some time I noticed that there are limitations on what I can teach.
I can only teach my students what I already know but not what they really want to know.
So I decided to find a solution to this problem. I did my research and I realized online lessons offer more than what could teach my students.
I checked so many sites, and unfortunately, things did not work well as I did not find what I needed at that time.
I ended up paying for nothing but I keep on until I found out about JamPlay.com.
I pointed my students to this website, and it turns out very well for them, as they can even teach me something now as their progress is swift.
After reading my review, you will know the advantage of using this online guitar training platform.

What is JamPlay.com?
What I like most about their website is, it is smooth and straightforward, and it is easy to navigate and understand.
If you really are interested in learning anything about guitar playing, all you need to do is click the links.
You will be routed to the information you want to check out.
The thing I want is that they can teach you what you want to know, whatever genre, whatever technique and they can even teach you what artist you want to become.
You are not limited to what your lone guitar teacher knows. There are a lot of instructors in JamPlay.
I highly recommend them to those who are just starting to learn to play guitar and the same to those who have advanced knowledge.
The lessons they prepare for their online students are genuinely practical and will let each student grasp information, technique, and style they need to play guitar like a pro.
Their lessons are better structured than by just learning through a youtube video wherein you are presented with the lessons done on a single angle camera and provided with snippets of information only.
It is also better than learning to play using an interactive tab like Guitar Pro as you will be learning alone with nobody to monitor your progress.
In JamPlay you will learn through professional videos recorded using multiple angle cameras, you will have a top of the line-interactive tab and a real guitar instructor to monitor your progress.
What is JamPlay Guitar Lessons?
For beginners, they have courses available that will give students step by step assistance, from holding the pick, proper posture, different techniques when strumming, even proper maintenance of your guitar and a lot more.
Everything you need to make you fully equipped with information as you start playing guitar is what they can teach you.
They also have an interactive tab where you can play along like a real band.
If you have somehow had an idea about playing the guitar, what they can provide you is information to bridge the gaps between your current knowledge to all the necessities to make you a better guitarist.
If you are self-taught, for sure there are things that you skipped and missed, and that is where this online tutorial is best to consider, as progressing your current skill is a smooth process using this online guitar platform.
On the other hand, their modules are not only for beginners, but they also have modules for professional guitar players and the guitar playing lessons will be in a continuous learning progression
The lessons are provided on both electric and acoustic guitars and whatever genre, style, and technique is available.
You can even specify which artist you want to become, be it Slash, Joe Satriani or you can even have a celebrity guitarist as your instructor like Steve Stevens.

80 Different Instructors
You will realize that they have a lot of instructors to choose from, and the good news is you have access to a lot of artist’s original materials, thus giving you the opportunity to learn authentic styles.
You can get ideas from each of their available instructors, thus making your knowledge of guitar playing more versatile.
Each of them has their expertise, thus giving you a variety in everything you need to learn and know about playing the guitar.
Honestly, there are some names on their list that you will not be familiar with, but all of them are giving their fair share of expertise.
They share their bio, thus making it easier for you to identify which one of them can help you best with the specific lesson you want to learn.
Another factor that can make you more interested in this website is they have free lessons that you can access as a member, thus if you do not have the budget yet.
You can then take advantage of free tutorials from their staff, and it is all helpful.
You may think that they are posting freebies just for the sake of inviting more members, but after trying it out, you will feel like it is meant to give their members a jump-start in their lessons.
Celebrity Instructors
If you want to be tutored by some artists, then this is the place as they even have Steven Stevens as one of the instructors.
Remember Top Gun Anthem, one of the most iconic electric guitar instrumental of all time, and the band Billy Idol? That’s him on the lead guitar.
What is the Advantage of Learning Online?
Some lessons are a little challenging for beginners, but the good thing is, you can play the lessons over and over, thus giving you the opportunity to master the lessons you want to learn.
There is entirely no extra charge playing the lessons over and over again, and another thing that made this site exciting is their live lessons, they broadcast around 8 to 10 hours of streaming lessons.
These live lessons will give you extra motivation to learn new styles and techniques in playing your guitar. It is exciting as well as there are many times you will learn a song and your tutor is the artist who originally played the song.
There is also live chatting available to make teachers and members interact, thus making your learning process more enjoyable and fun.
To add, they have daily live Q and A, where you can get quick access to their staff, sending those questions and inquiries via chat and getting responses instantly is what will keep you more and more focused to learn more.
The information you can get from them is not something you can read on books or any other online guitar lessons.
The learning process is fun here, so you will end up wanting to learn a lot more, and there are a lot of things to learn here, thus making you sometimes feel overwhelmed.
It is how you look at things, and if you focus on just one program at a time, you will quickly reach your goal as a better player or as the artist you want to become.
Nevertheless, as long as your passion for learning guitar is firm, then this website can bring you to a higher level of guitar playing.
Conclusion
JamPlay is by far the best platform to learn how to play the guitar. Their interactive tabs and the variety of instructors that they have will put your playing level to where you want it to be.
It is also a lot cheaper than hiring a guitar instructor.

Hello,
It seems like JamPlay is a good website for guitar learning since you rated it 5 out of 5 stars. And the monthly fee is also very affordable. It is a very good idea to learn from the internet simply because we can take courses and lessons any time we want, and we can learn what we don’t understand again and again. I think the ability to repeat a lesson is very helpful when it comes to practical learning. It’s not like we learn to play guitar logically. We have to see, understand and practice the techniques behind guitar playing. So the professional video recordings, interactive tab and the ability to learn from experienced celebrity guitarists will be a great opportunity for both beginners and self-learning guitarists.

JamPlay looks like it could revolutionize how people learn the guitar. For one, it is nice that you can do it from the comfort of your own home. Secondly, it’s great that it doesn’t cost very much when you compare it with what you might pay to get lessons in person. The fact that it boasts a line-up of expert teachers and the lessons are well put together makes it look like a no-brainer! Thanks so much for the post, as I was looking for a way to learn guitar without spending a huge amount of money!

Thank you for your extensive review of JamPlay! It looks like a great learning platform for both beginners and seasoned players! Specifically for a beginner, I would start here and get the basics down prior to taking lessons from someone. At my age, I wouldn’t feel so silly being completely new to learning the guitar.
In all, this review opened my eyes to the opportunities out there for newbies such as myself! I never knew this world existed, so thank you for shedding some light on JamPlay! I’m going to check it out further! Cheers!

Wow, this is a really nice review, I never knew there was a site like JamPlay where you can learn to play guitar in a monitored way, through professional videos recorded and also a real guitar instructor to monitor your progress. Hi Den, just what I was looking for my daughter Viviene she is learning to play the guitar. And by the looks of it, it is much cheaper than going to guitar lessons. Thank you so much for this post. Do you know if they got a try before you buy, so I can see if my daughter likes it?
Cheers

What I found most interesting about Jamplay is their interactive tabs that let you play along. This I have not seen on a site before. It is pretty straight forward and for myself just beginning it was very easy to understand. The use of different teachers and assess to different types of lessons makes 19 a month seem like pennies.
Den says
Hi Cathy,
Yes, $19 a month is nothing compared to what JamPlay is offering. It is much cheaper than hiring a guitar instructor. The interactive tab application is like a one-man band that will act as your accompaniment.

Thanks for finding the JamPlay website and giving us a great review so readers can decide if it is something that might help them with their guitar playing skills. I have to say I had not heard of the site, but it seems perfect for me as a casual hobby musician.
The cost is reasonable and I like the way they have set it up (I took a look after reading your review). The way it is set up makes it easy to use, and I think you can pick up new skills quite fast and then share them with others around you offline. Get a couple of friends to sign up, and it could be a blast!
Thanks for the coupons, and I am sure we will be using them. I have forwarded your review to my friends to see if we might want to all sign-up and do this together! They have some really good teachers too I think…Great find/share/review/site…
Den says
Hi Dave,
Yes, the discount coupons are there so you can save some money on your membership.

This review on JamPlay is indeed an eyeopener for my difficulty in learning the guitar to perfection is getting out of hand. This one of the best ways to learn to play the guitar that I have never tried, and I’ve tried quite a few from private teachers to online lessons. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of private teachers as they’re quite expensive and they aren’t as versatile in their style/skill as what’s available online. I’ll be giving this a massive try. Thanks for sharing.
Den says
Hi,
Yes, JamPlay is worth it if you are really interested in improving your guitar skills.

Playing guitar has been a source of joy for so many people and with that at hand, there are so many more people who are willing to learn how to play guitar but are finding it difficult to learn on their own or even get a trainer to help them out with it. Looking at JamPlay, I am really impressed there is a site that can help train people on how to play guitar and using one of the most effective means which is video at a very small amount of money. I will love to recommend this site to anyone who is willing to learn. Best regards

Hey!
Playing guitar seems very interesting and I always wanted to buy one and play it as a child, but now think I need to find time to learn how to play it, But how many lessons it takes to learn to play?

Hello Den,
I am so happy I happened upon your article. My daughter currently takes piano lessons offline and she wants to learn to play the guitar so bad. Just reading the information here from your article will certainly give me an option to work with.
She is already busy each week with her extra-curricular activities that fitting in another class would meet no downtime for her…and more travel/pickup after activities time for me. At least, with this online resource, she could learn at her leisure – when, where, and how she wants – of course with Mother Dearest paying for the access! 🙂
Thanks so much for this, I will be checking it out for sure!

Edwin says
Hello there,
this is a helpful review; I recently started playing acoustic and have made some progress with free lessons on the web, but, I know I need something more consistent.
My problem with these subscription based lessons is that I seem to learn very sloly, probably because I don’t have a lot of time to practice, and with money being tight I feel I don’t get enough bang for my bucks going out month after month.
I think for people like myself buying individual modules that go in sequence would be better, but, I haven’t found such thing; would there be anything like this at JamPlay?
Thanks!
Den says
Hi Edwin,
No you have to pay the $19.95 a month membership but I have the discount codes if you need them
Thanks for the comments,
Den

Hi, this looks like a great idea. Especially like the fact that you get tuition from lots of different tutors so you can fully develop your technique. I was just wondering is there any way to get feedback on your progress from the tutors? Do they get to hear your playing and let you know what you need to do to improve?
Den says
Hi Oliver,
This is what separates it by just learning from YouTube videos. They will monitor your progress when you record yourself playing. They even have a progress chart.
Thanks for the comments,
Den

Hi!
I really appreciate you sharing the JamPlay information here. It’s easy to understand and I have a full grasp of the concept and how it works. And for the record I love Steve Stephens, he has rocked with Billy Idol for many years.
I used to play the drums in a band and still pound the skins every once in a while. If I wanted to learn guitar, and I’ve thought about it before, I’d definitely consider JamPlay – now especially due to your review.
Thanks for sharing!
Mat A.
Den says
Hi Mat,
Great to know that. JamPlay is worth the money you will spend on it. I learned to play guitar the hard way. I still jam with my wife who plays Bass and my daughter who plays drums.
Thanks for the comments,
Den
