Based on the quality of build and functionality I consider the Shubb S1 as the best guitar capo.
There are so many guitar capos available in the market and choosing one for your needs is a difficult task.
After reading my review, you will have the detailed information which will help you in making your decision.

What is Shubb S1 Guitar Capo?
The Shubb S1 Guitar Capo is made of stainless steel, and the rubber cushion it uses will not harm guitars with Nitrocellulose finish. It is the best build capo available on the market.
How Does Shubb S1 Guitar Capo Work?
The drawback of using a capo is that in most cases you have to tune the guitar after you install the capo. You might also have to retune the guitar after you remove the capo.
Why is it so? Because most guitar capos have the same tension and putting tension somewhere on the fretboard will change the tension of the strings, and it will affect tuning.
Shubb solved this problem by allowing variable tension using an adjustable tension knob. This feature is cool as you can adjust the tension as if you are just using your index finger on a bar chord.
That way you will not alter too much the tension of the guitar strings thus avoiding the need to tune the guitar after installing and after use.
It has a very sturdy roller mechanism for a smooth operation and an improved lever makes opening and closing a lot easier. This capo is handcrafted in the USA and is made of high-grade materials.

Does it Have a Competitive Price?
You will be surprised that with the stainless steel build and high- quality construction it only cost $15.93 for the steel string guitar on Amazon with Prime free shipping.
It is available for six string steel string guitars, classic guitars and twelve string guitars.
What is the Drawback?
As with all designs, this capo is not perfect. The only thing I don’t like about it is, it is hard to change position on the fretboard using one hand.
It is not like the clip-on capos where you can slide around the fretboard with ease using one hand. If you move around a capo a lot, this capo may not be for you, but if you want to avoid constant tunings, this is what you need.
Conclusion
I highly recommend this capo, and this is the only capo I am using at present because I am sold on the design and functionality.
